Both times I’ve gone out to try and take pictures at Hunter’s Point, I’ve managed to take the wrong route and head in a completely different direction. However through both these misdirections, I’ve come across rather unique photographic finds. Last time I took Regnart Road instead of going on Foothill, and ended up finding that cool abandoned car and barnyard.
This time, I did make my way to Fremont Older, but ended up taking the residential route rather than the hiking trail. After a few minutes of realizing there was nothing very photogenic about people’s backyards, I saw this Buddha statue. It was a great subject (inanimate is always my favorite), though I didn’t get the symmetry I wanted because of the weeds. Better luck next time.
